Learn how to introduce yourself and ask where people are from.
1. Countries, nationalities and languages

People may speak several languages. Always capitalize countries, nationalities and languages.
2. Ask and answer
Where are you from?
I am from Morocco.
What is your nationality?
I am Moroccan.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Arabic and English.

4. Speak with a partner
Ask your partner the three questions above. Then introduce them to the class.
Model: This is Sara. She is from Morocco. She is Moroccan. She speaks Arabic and French.
Remember: Say “I am Moroccan” or “I am from Morocco”. Do not say “I am Morocco”.
